ROME SALADINO
Executive Producing Director



Rome has had a 25+ year career in professional theatre including international ballet companies, equity musical theatre companies, major cruise ships, local production companies, and Tokyo Disney. His wealth of knowledge and experience has led him to the creation of this production company, Saladino Dance Productions. During his ballet career he performed with many companies including the Sacramento Ballet, Icelandic Ballet and American Ballet Theatre, receiving reviews such as, “Saladino is a standout male dancer with a unique quality that could turn into genuine stardom.”

He has had the privilege of working with many amazing people; including Mikhail Baryshnikov, Fernando Bujones, Jürgen Schneider, Alonzo King, Jon Engstrom, Ann Reinking, Sonja Haney (Bob Fosse’s Assistant), to name a few. He also starred as Caleb in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, a Sword Dancer in Brigadoon, a Bottle and Russian Dancer in Fiddler on the Roof, a Player in Pippin, Anxi
ous in West Side Story and in A Chorus Line.

He joined the American Broadway Music Theatre in Tokyo Disney, where he was the Lead Male Dancer in Encore! After his experience in Tokyo, he performed as an Adagio Dancer on cruise ships touring all over the world. While earning his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Dance at Florida Atlantic University, he has been the lead dancer along with his wife, Marina, for ZMC Entertainment, Inc.

All these experiences led to his latest and greatest challenge, Rome self-produced, directed, and starred in Singin’ and Dancin’ in the Rain, a song and dance tribute to Gene Kelly.
MARINA PUTANE
Co-Producing Director


Marina brings over 15+ years of theatre and dance experience to Saladino Dance Productions. She is a Russian dancer from Latvia, now residing in south Florida. She began training extensively as a Rhythmic Gymnast and was on the Latvian National Team which competed in many cities all over the former USSR. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Biology for Elementary School Teaching.

Her dancing career started as a show ballet dancer with a Latvian Magician, Palchevsky, in the National Latvian Opera House. From there she moved on to performing on many cruise lines as an Adagio and show dancer all over the world. Her highlights were starring in Jean Ann Ryan’s Cirque Nouveau, Cirque Pacifica and Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Music of the Night. Along with her husband, Rome, they both starred in the Andrew Lloyd Weber musical, Song and Dance. Together they have toured the world and performed locally at the Maralago for Donald Trump, Super Bowl XVI in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale Centennial Celebration, and the Winterfest at the Seminole Hard Rock, as well as starring for ZMC Entertainment, Inc. in That’s Entertainment, Music of the Night, Holiday Show, and Love American Style.

Marina has been teaching ballet as well as strengthening and stretching classes in south Florida for the last 5 years. She works with competitive ice skaters and synchronized swimmers. She is proud of her work with Showstoppers as a choreographer and costumer. Her inspiration comes from her desire to be perfect and create the best show possible!
